  • The entire spoon used to feed pills coated in peanut butter
  • Scattered gravel under a barbecue grill dripped with oil
  • A whole, intact rawhide bone
  • Fish hooks left on a beach or riverbank
  • The zipper on a food bag (the zipper pull can block a dog’s intestines)
  • Towels
  • Squeaky toys
  • Disposable razors
  • Children’s toys
  • Batteries, watch batteries
  • Tennis balls
  • Chewing gum (xylitol, which makes it sweeter, is highly toxic)
  • Cigarette butts
  • Bars of soap
  • Drywall
  • Cooked bones
  • Corn cobs (easily get stuck in a dog’s intestines)
  • Sticks (also often get stuck in a dog’s intestines)
  • Poop in the trash can
  • Peach pits/kernels
  • Underwear
  • Socks
  • Diapers
  • Pacifiers
  • Condoms
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Mouth guards, dentures, hearing aids, earplugs
  • Hair ties
